Terms of Service
Plain-language terms for the website and the Noirpay product. Last updated 20 September 2026.
1. What these terms cover
These terms apply to the website at noirpay.app and to the Noirpay application, interfaces and APIs (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you can bind that company.
2. Self-custody
Noirpay is self-custodial. Your spending key is generated and held on your device. We cannot move your funds, recover your key, or reverse a transaction you have signed. You are responsible for your keys, your guardians and your recovery setup.
3. Eligibility and compliance
You may not use the Service if you are subject to sanctions, located in a sanctioned jurisdiction, or using it to evade sanctions, launder money or finance anything illegal. Shield and unshield transactions are screened, and we may refuse, delay or report activity where the law requires it. Fiat ramps and cards are provided by licensed partners under their own terms and identity checks.
4. Yield, cards and third parties
Yield figures on this site are targets, not guarantees. Returns depend on the venues shielded deposits are routed into and can be lower, zero or negative. Card, ramp and bridge services depend on third parties, and their availability, limits and fees can change.
5. The $NOIR token
$NOIR is a plain ERC-20 used for tiers and fee discounts. It is not a security, deposit, share of revenue or promise of return. Buybacks are discretionary and funded from revenue. Nothing on this site is investment advice.
6. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided as is. Smart contracts, zero-knowledge circuits and networks can have bugs, be congested or be attacked. To the extent the law allows, Noirpay is not liable for losses arising from your use of the Service, from third-party services, or from the underlying networks.
